Balloons

Balloons create the WOW factor to any function, whether it's your engagement party, bridal shower, hen's night or reception.

Imagine your room is set up with white tablecloths and white chair covers with a coloured sash tied around them and then you could add BALLOONS as your backdrop behind the bridal table and then as centre pieces for each guest table.

Try tying balloons in small bunches to make a centre piece using all one colour or mix colours to go with the theme of your Bridal shower pastel balloonswedding. If filling balloons with helium they can be tied to ribbons and held down with balloon weights and they will float or if you choose to fill your balloons with air they can be secured to a balloon stick and you could stand them in a vase or maybe a small covered box.

TIP: When using balloons as a table centre piece make sure the balloons are either low enough for your guests to see over them OR make the display high enough that your Clown metallic gold balloonguests to see under them. You want your guests to be able see each other across the table.

Another way to display your balloons is to fill with helium and tie with curling ribbon and let them float above the dance floor. Make the curling ribbon long enough for people to reach and then as they dance they can have fun with the balloons as well, by pulling the ribbon and watching the balloons float up again.

Standard light blue balloonTIP: Don't over fill your balloons with air or helium as all it usually does is causes them to burst. They may not burst immediately you fill them but as your special night goes on you don't want your balloons bursting here and there and ruining your display.

Some of the balloons we have are printed with bells for weddings, hen's night out designs and a bridal shower theme.

We also have balloons in the shape of hearts as well as the traditional oval balloon shape. When tied with the various curling ribbons and secured with the balloon weights we have Silver bells design balloonsavailable you can achieve a stunning display for a reasonable budget.

TIP: Once you have chosen which balloons you want, it looks much better if when they are inflated they are all the same size. Now you could do this by looking at them and guessing the size or here are a couple of ways to make it easier and more accurate.
Hen's night out chooks balloons1. Using a balloon hand pump (check our online shop) count how many times you pump air into the balloon to get the size you want and then it is just a matter of doing the same amount of pumps into each balloon.
OR
2. Use a bucket or something round that is the size you want your balloons to be and hold the balloon over the circle as you pump and when it just touches the sides of the circle, stop and tie off your balloon.

Hopefully I have given you some decoration ideas for your wedding or special occasion with balloons and if you look in the online shop you find balloons and accessories to get you started.

ONE FINAL TIP: Don't just buy the exact amount of balloons you need because accidents do happen and to be one or two short to finish your decorations would be disappointing.
