The underlayer is full satin with a satin gathered frill around the hem line. Over the bodice and skirt of this dress is a soft polyester and cotton lace layer with a satin binding trim around the hem line.

The underlayer has the colour and the lace layer on top is white. This allows the colour to show through the lace.

At the front waistline is a 3.5cm satin sash which continues around the back and ties in a bow which allows for slight adjustment in fitting. The central front of the dress has a wide satin bow with satin rosettes, silk leaves, ribbons and pearl beads. There is a zip in the back.
