Your hairstyle is important when choosing a tiara or any style of hair accessories. Not all tiaras look like crowns these days and they can be quite subtle if you wish. Also consider the shape of your face when looking at tiaras. A tiara should not be wider than your face shape. If you want to appear taller, have your hair in an up style and a tiara that comes up slightly in the middle. If you are very tall and want to disguise your height a little, have a tiara that is lower and a little bit wider across your head.
